As with last year, there will be no limit on tickets, so each family may finally invite all those extra friends and relatives that have been so interested in coming! (Tickets will be sold to the general public, as well, and will go on sale April 20th the Flint Center Box Office or through ticketmaster.com.)
August 23: Fall 2009 Schedule begins
November 24 -26: Thanksgiving Vacation
December 20 - January 2: Winter Vacation
TBA Mid-Year Recess
April 26: First day of ticket sales
May 14: Picture Day (optional)
June TBA: RECITAL !
*Please note that classes will be held on all other national holidays and all other school holidays.
DRESS CODE FOR THE 2010 - 2011 SEASON
All Student Dance Classes:
Appropriate shoes are required. Pink for ballet, and black for tap and jazz.
Leotards are required for all classes. Any style and any color is acceptable.
If the hair is long enough to reach in a ponytail, then it must be worn in one. Long bangs must be clipped back. (Advanced classes: Buns are required.)
Ballet Classes:
Leotards in any color or style, and pink tights / or pink ankle length leggings.
Jazz / Tap classes:
Leotards in any color or style, and leggings of any length or color. Dance shorts are acceptable only if they are not baggy, and boxer shorts are acceptable only if they have a dance type logo.
No tap shoes with velcro straps please.
Boys:
Comfortable pants with an elastic waistband (no jeans please.) Close fitting t-shirt worn tucked in.
*Adult classes: suitable attire that is stretchable and comfortable.
